Sweden Life

As you may or may not know, for the last 4 years my Dad has been living in Sweden. This is only my 3rd visit, but the place just gets more beautiful every time visit!

However, it didn't start so beautiful with a 5.30am wake up call, we were NOT impressed!

As soon as we arrived, we were met at the airport by daddy and went back to dump off our bags, wrap up and begin the exploring.

It was a beautiful day and the sun was out, very deceiving though as the temperature was painfully cold. That's not even an exaggeration, we were in physical pain!!!

The harbour is incredible, it was so quiet and peaceful. We strolled along the water and watched people lounging on their yachts, I even attempted to ask daddy for a yacht, that one didn't go down too well!

We walked for ages into the Old Town which is full of markets and perfect for buying presents.

After wandering around the market we decided that it was most definitely time for a coffee break (in my case a hot chocolate break!!). My dad is the biggest coffee fan, so whenever we go out, there are always at least 3 coffee breaks scheduled in!

We also managed to to demolish some delicious cakes from a tiny Swedish cafe in the middle of the market.

Feeling slightly sick from the sugar overdose, we carried on and headed to the town centre.

The town centre was full of stalls with amazing meat and fresh fish! The fish in Sweden is so tasty and even better when you get it fresh from the market. This market was full of locals stocking up for the week, including my dad!

We then hopped on the train back to Sollentuna, where my dad lives! The public transport in Stockholm is incredible, everyone gets trains everywhere because they are so easy, its like getting the tube in London minus being underground, sweaty and packed in like sardines!

We made it back just in time for this beautiful sunset view from the balcony!

If anyone is thinking of going to Sweden I would 100% recommend it to you and my one piece of advise would be.....WRAP UP WARM!!!
